Project overview: Workplace design and detail, furniture and finishes specification
Collective Studio produced and implemented the concept design scheme for Cornwall Council’s Exchange pilot scheme at County Hall in partnership with workplace strategists, PLACEmaking. The Exchange brings all members of the senior leadership of the Council into one flexible space, including cabinet members.
Through careful space planning the pilot scheme was successful for supporting collaborative, team working and quiet focused work and is continuing to be monitored through PLACEmaking’s post occupancy evaluation work.. Our design scheme, which included a strategy for the whole of the County Hall building, is now being implemented across the building.
