Principle: Anna Hart
Anna initially studied furniture design at Leeds Metropolitan University before joining Coexistence, one of London’s most established furniture dealers in 1999. Following this she moved to join leading workplace design firm DEGW London completing project work for clients such as BP (Finsbury Circus), BBC (Media Village) and the Crown Estate (Regents Street).
Moving to Falmouth in 2004 she joined Absolute Design where she delivered a wide selection of projects including being responsible for award winning, high-profile design work such as Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen Cornwall and The Hotel at Watergate Bay before leaving to establish her own studio.
Anna is also a founding director of furniture brand MARK Product, established in 2008 in partnership with furniture designer John Miller. MARK is a range of furniture and lighting designed for home, work and leisure. Helena graduated from University College Falmouth in 2009 having studied Spatial Design: Interior and Landscape.
She subsequently joined Sea Communications as a ‘Producer’ leading and project managing a design research project for Dott Cornwall (a Design Council initiative) to design creative and sustainable solutions to social issues. She delivered over 30 co-design workshops with people affected by redundancy. Helena was pivotal to the New Work project achieving its targets 8 months ahead of schedule.
Prior to studying at Falmouth Helena worked for London based interior designers Haywood Associates on high-end residential projects and exhibition designs including exhibition design for Decorex International, one of the leading interior design trade shows.
She joined Collective Studio in 2011 where she brings both her creative and project management skills together working alongside Anna in deliverying all aspects of Collective’s projects.
